This game has become one of my favorite platformers to date. There are a couple of things I’d like people to know if they’re unsure wether to pick this up, but I highly recommend you do. This game is quite challenging despite the cute cover art and reviews saying otherwise, so it shouldn’t be dismissed as just for children. It also has a feature that allows you to adjust the difficulty so you can get it to a level that’s right for you. The controls are also super tight and gives it the feel of a game made by a major publisher. There are all kinds of power ups to acquire and each level is different so the game stays fresh throughout. I also played this in portable mode and on my TV, but it really shines on a big, bright screen because the colors are so vivid. The music is also PHENOMENAL. I’ve heard people say they didn’t want to pick it up because they don’t like clowns, but this game is pure fantasy and light hearted fun. It may even make you like clowns! No horror elements here. I’ve seen other reviews mentioning the length of the game being too short, but in my opinion it’s perfect. I’ve picked it up every day for a couple of hours this week, and have a lot more to complete. There are also hidden items that you can go back and collect which adds to its replay value. All in all I would compare it to a newer Mario or Yoshi game. I found myself laughing and talking to myself as I played, it is so much fun. I picked it up during Black Friday and it was such a deal. I can’t understand how this game came and went without much praise. It’s everything you’d want in a fun platformer and I hope this review helps bring some awareness to this hidden gem of a game!
